New EV Owner Kit is a guide site. We do not ask readers to create an account on this site, and we do not sell a membership login product here.
What this site is for
We publish educational EV ownership guides, tools, and downloads. Using those pages is voluntary. Do not submit sensitive personal, financial, or medical information through general correction emails unless you intentionally choose to include it.
Analytics, hosting, and logs
The hosting and content-delivery platform (for example Cloudflare) may collect standard technical logs such as page URL, browser type, referring page, approximate location derived from IP address, and similar network metadata needed to operate and secure the site. Those providers process data under their own terms and privacy policies.
We use lightweight first-party product analytics to understand which setup-path controls people use (for example situation routing, planner actions, PDF downloads, and resume links). Events are limited to a small allow-list of interaction names plus non-sensitive metadata such as page path, button/source labels, and optional ids. We do not include email addresses, names, free-text form fields, or other personal content in analytics payloads. When Cloudflare Zaraz is present, the same events may also be forwarded as custom Zaraz tracks. First-party events are posted to our own /api/events endpoint for operational measurement; payloads are not used to build marketing profiles or sold. Browser setup progress stays in localStorage on your device and is separate from analytics. Details for implementers: see the project docs on setup-loop analytics.
Affiliate and third-party links
Some outbound product links may include affiliate tracking parameters. Retailers, manufacturers, utilities, and other third parties handle their own checkout, cookies, accounts, and privacy practices. Review their policies before purchasing or creating accounts. See the affiliate disclosure.
